So the other night, I went to eat at a friend of Rodney's house. Rodney is a big time fisherman so I knew that we would be eating some seafood at the dinner. Even though I am a vegetarian, I do eat seafood. I also knew that Rodney's buddy liked to hunt. What I did not know was that he LOVED to hunt. I walk into his house and what do I see lots of dead animals mounted in every room. (See pictures below). I think there was a total of 15 or so deer, a 12 1/2 foot alligator, a New Zealand Tar, coyote skin, stuffed turkey, etc. I was horrified. Rodney just looked at me and said "Perfect place for a vegetarian to eat". It was so funny. Of course, the meal included fried gator, prime rib, deer fillets wrapped in bacon, shrimp and fish. Overall I had a great time (as long as I sat outside to eat dinner). Rodney's friend grilled me a piece of fresh caught fish. I just had to write this blog because I thought the whole thing was so funny!!! Check out the poor animals below :)

ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! I have to say, Bradley would have LOVED that house. It kind of looks like the same theme as his bedroom. ha ha ha. sounds like a hilarious experience. PS... I think the pic of you in the vest is cute. You said the puffy sleeves were awful. I disagree.
